PonyTabs is a browser extension designed to help users organize and manage open browser tabs from a side panel. This Privacy Policy explains what information PonyTabs accesses, how that information is used, and how it is protected.

1. Information PonyTabs accesses

To provide its tab-management features, PonyTabs accesses limited information about tabs currently open in the user's browser, including:

• Page titles
• Page URLs and domain names
• Website favicons
• Tab status, such as whether a tab is active, pinned, muted, playing audio, or discarded
• Browser window and tab group information

This information is required to display, search, group, and manage open tabs.

PonyTabs does not inspect or read the content of webpages, such as page text, images, forms, passwords, messages, or other content displayed within a webpage.

2. How information is used

Information about open tabs is used only to provide PonyTabs' user-facing features, including:

• Displaying open tabs in the side panel
• Grouping tabs by website or domain
• Searching tabs by title, URL, or domain
• Activating, closing, duplicating, pinning, unpinning, or moving tabs
• Creating native Chrome tab groups
• Bookmarking selected tabs or groups of tabs
